 Η αχίλλεια είναι ένα φυτό γνωστό από την εποχή του Υερόνιμου Μπος (595), και χρησιμοποιείται για παθήσεις του ήπατος από τον 18ο αιώνα. Το εκχύλισμα αυτού του φυτού υποστηρίζει την υγεία του ήπατος και της χοληδόχου κύστης.

Κουρκούμη Το εκχύλισμα με 95% κουρκουμινοειδή (εκχύλισμα με την υψηλότερη συγκέντρωση, υψηλής απόδοσης) βελτιώνει τη δραστηριότητα του ήπατος, επηρεάζοντας την ικανότητά του να αποτοξινώνει ξενοβιοτικές χημικές ουσίες (χημικές ενώσεις που βρίσκονται στο σώμα, αλλά δεν παράγονται από αυτό). Η ικανότητα του κουρκουμινοειδούς να αναστέλλει έναν αριθμό παραγόντων, όπως τον Πυρηνικό Παράγοντα - kappaB, ο οποίος ρυθμίζει πολλές προφλεγμονώδεις και προ-ινωτικές κυτοκίνες, καθώς και οι αντιοξειδωτικές του ιδιότητες, του προσδίδουν υψηλή αποτελεσματικότητα στις ηπατικές διαταραχές. Η κουρκουμίνη ανακουφίζει από την ηπατική βλάβη που προκαλείται από αιθανόλη, θειοακεταμίδη, υπερδοσολογία σιδήρου, οξεία υποχρόνια και χρόνια χολόσταση, τετραχλωράνθρακα, δηλητηρίαση, κίρρωση.

Η ρίζα της πικραλίδας καθαρίζει το συκώτι από τις τοξίνες, αποτρέπει τη βλάβη του και συμβάλλει στην ορθή λειτουργία του. Έχει χολερετική-χολαγωγική δράση, δηλαδή διεγείρει την έκκριση της χολής και συμβάλλει στην κένωσή της στο δωδεκαδάκτυλο. Γι' αυτό είναι πολύ χρήσιμη σε κρίσεις χοληφόρων (κρίση χολή) για την απελευθέρωση της χολής από την ουροδόχο κύστη.

Αγκινάρα Έχει χολερετικό-χολαγωγό αποτέλεσμα (διεγείρει την έκκριση και την απέκκριση της χολής), διεγείρει και βελτιώνει την πέψη, προστατεύει τα ηπατικά κύτταρα. Έχει διουρητική, αποτοξινωτική και καθαριστική δράση για το αίμα. Εντείνει την απέκκριση της χοληστερόλης μέσω της χολής και βοηθά στην ομαλοποίηση των τιμών χοληστερόλης και τριγλυκεριδίων στο αίμα.

Βιταμίνη C Συμβάλλει στη διατήρηση της φυσιολογικής λειτουργίας του ανοσοποιητικού συστήματος και στον φυσιολογικό μεταβολισμό της ενέργειας, στην φυσιολογική λειτουργία του νευρικού συστήματος, στη διατήρηση της ψυχικής υγείας. Συμβάλλει στην προστασία των κυττάρων από το οξειδωτικό στρες, στη μείωση της κόπωσης και της εξάντλησης, στην φυσιολογική λειτουργία του ανοσοποιητικού συστήματος, στην αναγέννηση της αναγμένης μορφής βιταμίνης Ε. Αυξάνει επίσης την απορρόφηση του σιδήρου.

Ψευδάργυρος είναι εξαιρετικά σημαντικός λόγω της παρουσίας του σε κάθε ιστό του σώματος και της άμεσης συμμετοχής του στην κυτταρική διαίρεση, όντας επίσης ένα ισχυρό αντιοξειδωτικό. Ο ψευδάργυρος επηρεάζει τη σύνθεση πρωτεϊνών και είναι απαραίτητος για την ορθή λειτουργία των λευκών και ερυθρών αιμοσφαιρίων.
