Συστατικά

Yerba Mate: Το Yerba mate είναι ένα παραδοσιακό ποτό της Νότιας Αμερικής που παρασκευάζεται από τα φύλλα του φυτού Ilex paraguariensis, το οποίο φύεται σε χώρες όπως η Αργεντινή, η Ουρουγουάη, η Παραγουάη και μέρη της Βραζιλίας. Χρήση

Γεμίστε ένα μάτε (φλιτζάνι) κατά τα 2/3 με yerba (τσάι). Τοποθετήστε το χέρι σας στο άνοιγμα του μάτε, γυρίστε ολόκληρο το φλιτζάνι και ανακινήστε το καλά για μια στιγμή. Γυρίστε ξανά το φλιτζάνι και αφαιρέστε το χέρι σας από το άνοιγμα. Τα λεπτά σωματίδια του yerba βρίσκονται τώρα στο χέρι σας και μπορούν να σκουπιστούν. Τώρα ανακινήστε το Mate έτσι ώστε το yerba να βρίσκεται στη μία πλευρά του μάτε, δημιουργώντας μια κοιλότητα στην άλλη πλευρά. Κρατήστε το Mate γερμένο και ρίξτε λίγο κρύο νερό στην κοιλότητα. Μην ρίχνετε πολύ νερό. Η κορυφή του yerba δεν πρέπει να βραχεί. Αφήστε το Mate γερμένο για λίγα λεπτά μέχρι το yerba να απορροφήσει το νερό. Τοποθετήστε τον αντίχειρά σας στην κορυφή (στόμιο) της bombilla έτσι ώστε να σφραγιστεί. Στη συνέχεια, πιέστε το τμήμα φίλτρου της bombilla στον πάτο του Mate μέσα στο κοίλο μέρος. Ρίξτε ζεστό (λίγο πριν βράσει) νερό στο κοίλο μέρος ακριβώς κάτω από το χείλος του μάτε. Ρουφήστε (απαλά) το τσάι μέσα από τη bombilla και... απολαύστε.
