Το αιθέριο έλαιο Λεμονόχορτο (Lemongrass) εκχυλίζεται από το Cymbopogon citratus, γνωστό και ως «λάδι χόρτου», από τα φρέσκα ή μερικώς αποξηραμένα φύλλα με απόσταξη ατμού. Αυτό το λάδι λέγεται ότι καταπολεμά την κούραση και βοηθά στην ανανέωση ενός κουρασμένου σώματος και μυαλού. Είναι επίσης ένας ευχάριστος τρόπος για να κρατήσετε ένα κατοικίδιο ζώο απαλλαγμένο από ψύλλους και κρότωνες. Το λεμονόχορτο περιέχει κιτράλη, η οποία παρέχει την κύρια γεύση στη φλούδα λεμονιού.
