The AW Gifts Himalayan Salt BBQ Cooking Plate is a rectangular slab hand-carved from a solid block of natural Himalayan pink salt. It can be heated for grilling and searing, or chilled to serve cold dishes such as sushi, cheese, fruit and desserts. It measures approximately 30 x 20 x 5 cm and weighs about 8 kg. Natural colour changes, surface variations and small cracks may develop with use and are not considered defects.

Heat the plate slowly to reduce the risk of cracking. Begin at a low temperature and increase the heat gradually. Never place a cold or damp slab directly onto intense heat.

Use heat-resistant gloves, suitable utensils and a strong, heat-safe support.

Allow the plate to cool completely before cleaning. Scrape away residue, then wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse briefly using minimal water.

Never soak it or use soap, detergent or a dishwasher. Dry immediately and store in a cool, dry place.

Avoid sudden temperature changes and excessive moisture.
