Moya Organic Hojicha Powder is made by grinding roasted hojicha leaf tea into a fine powder. The tea leaves are grown in the Kagoshima region on the island of Kyushu in Japan, then steamed, rolled, dried and roasted before being milled. It comes in a 100 g bag.

It has a slightly nutty taste with caramel notes and a dark brown colour. The fine powder dissolves well in water and works in drinks and desserts.

For a hojicha latte, mix 1 flat tablespoon of powder with 100 ml of water, whisk, then add the milk of your choice. It also suits hojicha ice cream, macarons, cakes and other baked recipes, and works well with plant-based milks.
